Exclamation HELP!!! installed new wheels... CHECK SYSTEM after 20 miles!! ?!?!

I have is250 AWD. 5 Months old. Stock 17"s. Ordered 18" wheels non-lexus. They came in today. I put em on about 45 mins ago. Everything was fine.... when i turned on car and started driving i was waiting for the CHECK TIRE PRESSURE light or error NEVER came on.. i was surprised.. so i just kept driving. On highway it felt a little bumpy.. but over the same potholes and bumps in road as with stock it actually feels better, i also have the f-sport springs...

everything was fine.. then 20 miles out it lights up CHECK SYSTEM and on the center the red exclamation is on and the yellow exclamation in the bottom right.

Is this because i had 17"s now 18"s and the car doesnt understand what the speed is? or is it more serious. I mean i drove another 15-20 miles to get home and really didnt feel anything wierd.

ANY IDEAS GUYS?? im freaking out right now...

Do you have the old tire sensors in your new wheels?

def not...

i never put any tire sensors in nor did the store.

im so confused...

technically i should have had TIRE PRESSURE error come up... right? and as soon as i turned the car on... correct? or have some had the error for tire pressure come up after they drive for a bit?

its just a yellow exclamation and it should say CHECK TIRE PRESSURE on the center display right?

If it senses the pressure sensors but they are low it will say "LOW PRESSURE". If there is a problem with one (or more) of the sensors, it gives the message you are seeing.

This message brought to you by "Everybody Loves Hypnotoad". Now on 7 nights a week

WOOT!

but wait..

as for putting sensors in..i thought you DONT HAVE to .. its optional? you will just get the error lights..BUT I THOUGHT JUST THE YELLOW...didnt think i would get a red exclamation thats why i freaked out!\

anyway you guys obviously know best...so.. do i HAVE TO or just to get the error light off?

will running this way mess my car up? or no?

my choice is what just getting TPSM for each tire and then i wont have ANY error lights? or it will still say the pressure is low but wont do the RED error?

yes its the tire sensor u need to take it to the dealership to program it if u have sensors. if u dont have them on that error will come on every 20 miles. was happening to me until the new sensors were programmed.

so what do you guys think... fix this and spend like 400 + OR get a f-sport intake instead?

is this really a serious issue or its just annoying to look at?

you need to get the original tpms mounted on your tires if they are tpms compatible, or make a TP pipe bomb and put it in your trunk.

It's more of an annoyance and makes your lcd cluster totally useless until you get it fixed.

i doubt these wheels are tire sensor compatible..so im pretty much screwed cus i read the wheel has to be made to support TPSM correct? so im stuck with a useless display, which sucks cus i use the gear display ALL the time
