Which car should I drive? - hurricane evacuation
#24
I'm in NW Houston and I've got the IS in the garage, and it will stay there. If I leave it will be after the storm if the power goes out. They say the power could take 18 days to come back on. So if the power goes out we will be taking the wife's company car which we don't care if it gets messed up. Also if the power goes out I can't open my garage anyway.
With the IS here the worst that can happen is flooding (which may total it), if I take it, dings and scratches will just **** me off.

Hope the storm doesn't get out of hand, and good luck.

what about.... leave both lexuses at home in the garage, and if $ allows, rent a 4x4 SUV? who cares of it getting damaged, 4x4, higher off the ground, and can pack more stuff in there? both cars will be in garage sheltered, and if nothign happens... both cars would eb safe.
