AGGRESSIVE ISX50 wheel thread

225/35/19 front
245/35/19 rear
and I still rub in the rear despite a good roll job.
I don't rub anymore in the front but thats because I did a lot of front fender mods (cut out that hanging metal piece behind the plastic fender linder and also bent UP that bolt connecting the fender & bumper). I also went crazy for about 3 hours with a heat gun.
NOW- after all that, I don't rub in the front anymore... so I'm thinking even w/ my 15mm & 10mm spacer suggestions, you'll still rub becuase of 2 reasons: you would be a tad bit more aggressive then I am by like 2 or 3mm AND you have thicker tires. Just be prepaired to rub a little. But you also have F-Sport springs so your ridding higher then I am to.
Its really all about exploring. I would try the 15 & 10. Get the look you want.
Then from there if you need to roll or cut your rear fenders, thats pretty simple, and then if you need to do front fender mods like I stated, do them.
At the end of the day, its work but you'll get the LOOK you want and IMO its so worth it.

My IS-F with Volks
I've been using this thread as a guide to decide if I should stick on the Volk TE37s that I had purchased from a owner who had them on his G35C...they certainly are an aggressive fit on my IS-F:
The specs are:
Front: 19x8.5 +29 offset, 235/35/19 tire
Rear: 19x10.5 +22 offset, 265/30/19 tire
The suspension is stock, as are the alignment settings - this is why the top of the wheel pokes so much. Thus far I've only experienced rubbing when going over dips in the road...and when trying to get up my driveway, haha.
I was originally going to just sell the wheels but slapped them on today just to see how they would fit...I think they look badass. I think a good fender roll job in the back with a slight pull might fix the rubbing. Opinions?

Yeah a fender shave or roll with a drop should do it.

I appreciate the opinions. I don't think lowering would help with the rubbing at all; it'll probably make it worse, but I agree it would look much sexier if the car were lowered. Question for you guys who have increased negative camber in the rear - how has that affected handling?

where do you rub? roll those fenders and you wont rub at all...plus when you lower a car, the springs become a lot stiffer too resulting in less rebound in the spring. not to mention you can adjust the dampening too.
it increases your handling around corners. it tightens up your ability to take sharper, tighter turns. because the IS has multi-link rear suspension, changing the camber also changes the toe a little bit, which thus gives you improved handling around turns. you will definitely notice a difference in handling when you lower your IS

After starting this thread I'm finally about to join you guys!!!! Woot Woot!
I just sold my beloved Lxry Hanes LH22. I loved these wheels because they looked almost OEM and no one else was really rocking them. But time to step up my game.
