i was referring to the pepboys specials on this thread's subject. i'm running ichibas on my other car and it's perfect, b/c it's hubcentric and made for my car.

btw, i wouldn't recommend anything larger that 5mm on stock studs. you need 6-7 good turns on the lugs for a secure fit. you can also opt to get larger spacers if they have pressed on lugs, or if you install extended studs.

recap:
ichiba's version I: don't go larger than 5mm on STOCK studs, though ichiba does offer extended studs for all their spacers.

ichiba's version II: can go as large as they offer but make sure your wheels can accomodate them. see website for more details.

and spacers are mainly used for better wheel fitment to the car (flush with the fenders). the added stability and other performance gains are just secondary.

Easy to install, great quality and fitment, and I'm very happy with the results.

Perfectly flush with stock 18s will require 12mm/17mm custom spacers. 10mm/15mm would be fine but hub-centric bolt-on's are only offerred at +15mm, for Ichiba at least. That's why I went with 15mm/20mm. Here is my thread on the spacers I installed if you want to see before/after pics...
