Default Wheel Spacers from pepboys or other autostores.

I was wondering if the wheel spacers from just regular auto stores were good. Not like the ichiba or others. Anyone with expereince?

they're fine. just of cheaper quality than ichiba / kics. spacer quality doesnt really matter unless you go over...i'de say 5mm.

yes it does matter. it's made of cheap casted metal which most of the time doesn't fit snug on your hubs to cater to different hub sizes and lug patterns. they will tend to shake and vibrate upon use. they work nonetheless but i wouldn't trust a $40k car on crappy $10 spacers. just go right and get the good stuff from the beginning; a philosophy that everyone should abide to.

I don't know why you don't like Ichiba. I just put on a set of 15mm spacers and they are great. They fit perfectly and the other day I had the car up to 80 MPH and I had zero vibrations.

Um...yes it matters! Crappy spacers will eventually strip your lugs.

H&R and Kics make good ones..I haven't heard anything about Ichiba though but apparently they're quite popular on this website

Good to know. With 18 inch stock rims and tires, what would you guys recommend? 10mm front, 15mm back? I want to rims and tires to look more flush to the fenders, but not sticking out like VIP style.

finally post some pics. does the car not drive better with them on and did you just do the rears or all 4 points?

Ichiba hub centric and bolt on are the way to go if you ask me. You cant beat the price and convenience they offer. check out their web site or ask for steve.

IMO: I still to this day DON'T see the differences that spacers make.

It's a minimal difference.
