Rolling my fenders, is it bad?

oh but i'm thinking to go 19x9.5 in the rear instead of 19x10. and s-tech instead of prokit.

He did not cut the rears but rolled them. He also had utilized the spacers in the rear, not the front. he did experience some paint cracking as well.

I rolled the rear fenders and did have minor paint cracking but it didnt do anything and was fine when I got rid of the car. I wouldnt do it again unless you are getting crazy with the car or your going to be painting the car. haev some one grind them or shave them down!

I did use spacers in the rear but after i had sold my rims to Tony. I rolled the rear fenders for the Work rims and the tire/offset I was running. I was in spec and that is what i wanted with the given roads here. yes i did have some cracking of the paint but it never got worse... cant say what will happen down the road with the next owner
I would shave them, 99% of the shops around me suggest this on Lexus models so if i do it on the GS I am going to try this route?

I agree, cutting would be the better option. I already had my rear fenders rolled and the tires are still rubbing (275 tires on a 10" rim with +30 offset). Now I have to get them cut anyways. I only had them rolled because it seemed more convenient at the time.
The fronts you don't need to roll. It only rubs on the fender liner and that's a 5 minute fix with a heat gun. Unless you want a crazy offset of course.

U might need a right size tire and the rim offset.. The low offset, it will likely to roll fender because the rims will stick out further.. IMO, I know the skinny tires like 205 or 215 or 225 in front will likely to stretch with wider rims and the rear tires 225 or 235 or 245 will stretch with wider rims too.. I prefer not to roll fender in front because I dont think it will work out but the rear fender, I have a friend will roll fender for me.. Let give a try and see what's sup..

roll or cut, the paint will eventually crack or will crack during the process. you are taking the paint from it's orginal form when it dried initially so it will deform. for me i wouldn't want to ruin such nice paint .
get wheels that fit. this is coming from a guy that has done fender modding before (both cutting and rolling) with great results. for such a nice car i wouldn't want to ruin it, plus there is already some clearance allotment from the factory in the rear.

I think that Rolling fenders is safe... but like most of you have mentioned, I don't recommend anyone rolling front fenders... cause they can't handle the stress from the rolling machine... The rears are spot welded and stay pretty much rigid during the process...
The key to preventing any type of paint cracking is keeping the paint at around 120 to 140 degrees F with a heat gun ... this makes the paint Malleable and it stretches with the fender roll...
