arrrrghhhhh!!! run over a tire at the FREEWAY!!
i was driving back home from GF house...i was on the freeway at the 5N to be exact about 2 miles away from my house...I just runover a tire.... it was unavoidable because they were scattred on the 5N it just so happend that i was on the FAST LANE!!!!!!

Ouch....take it to the body shop and see if they can fix the lip. If you get the FAB lip those holes that was used to clip on the OEM GFX front lip will all be visible. I put my fab lip on not to long ago and didn't know about the holes and had to use electrical tape to cover it up.

hey man, the same thing happened to me the 2nd day I drove my brand new IS out the lot. I was driving up Highway 5 from So-cal up here. I was having the worst luck...the car in front fling-ed up a blown out 18 wheeler tire and it hit my bumper and scratched up my bumper pretty bad. But my Ground effect lip didn't come out.
I ended up just buying the Color Match by Turtle Wax, I happened to have a Black IS also, and it worked pretty good. I believe it was under $20. But if the body shop is charging around $100, I'd get it fixed.
If you do wanna fix it yourself, you may need to take the whole front bumper out yourself, it shouldn't be too hard. There's tons of instructions online on how to take out out & how to install the Front Lip.
