Stolen emblems
I parked my car at the college's parking lot and I didnt notice it till later that night that my front L and rear L emblems have been stolen. Now the problem is that my car came w/ the gun metal package, so all my emblems are gun metal...I spoke with the dealer they wanted a damn near $400 for front and rear and the adviser told me that they aren't painted that gun metal color, its dipped in that color like how they dip the regular emblems in chrome. I tried looking on ebay for the gun metal emblems, i couldn't find anything..Does anyone know where I might be able to buy them? I'm not paying $400 for any emblems, worst comes to worst I'll have to buy some off ebay and paint all emblems (rear lexus - is250) black also, but I'm trying to keep them as close to gun metal as possible, if anyone knows where I can get them or even get me a color code I'd greatly appreciate it.

Van Nuys' Keyes Lexus also told me they were $400, i say total b.s.
But yea man, still ain't cheap....but black pearl chrome on black is does look much nicer! Good luck!

Check with Sewell, you can try discount codes CLUBLEXUS (15% off may still work) or CL911M for our standard CL member 10% off discount there.

Too bad the group buy on them is over.

I wonder if they'll just sell me the grille and rear logo. I don't need the other two. Man, who the hell steals a Lexus logo? This isnt like some JDM Honda bull****, that I can understand....but LEXUS?!?!

Yea, yours is the Black Pearl or otherwise known as Black Chrome plated. You can probably go buy a set of the regular chrome emblems from Sewell for around $60 (Much cheaper) and then goto places like www.classiccomponents.com and get it black chrome plated for much cheaper. I'm getting my f-sport emblems chromed for about $10 a piece. Of course i don't know how that would match your other 2 emblems that isn't stolen yet. Good Luck!

I lost the "H" off my old (like really old, circa '86) Honda Prelude in a really nice neighborhood and it was only worth $30 new from the dealer, the "H" not the car. Unfortunately, some people will steal pretty much anything that they can detach and walk away with. This "collecting emblems" business is why Rolls Royce offers an electronically retractable Flying Lady these days too. I hope your replacement fairs better than its predecessor in the longevity department.
