you will be stuck in recirculate mode when its broken. the door shouldnt be able to freely move so if it can its broken.
mine doesn't stuck in recirculate mode, it can still be change to fresh air mode if i want. It just when in recirculate mode, I can feel no air can come through, but with a bit of bump or force impact to the car, the door will fall and close, and more air will come in.

yeah, sorry to say it's broken... being stuck in recirculation mode is sucky. If you have more than 1 person in the car, your windows will fog...
If it's broken, can you tell me which part do i need to replace? I don't think i can afford the 1000 dollar fix in dealer, and i will try to do it myself.
