$32,700? Which dealer? That's before taxes right?

I paid $300 over invoice in Minneapolis for a 2009 IS250 AWD, w/ nav, lux & prem packages. Plus they had all weather mats, trunk mats and wheel locks on it. If you want to talk to my salesman let me know!

how did you find one with luxury package?

I can't even find one with nav, premium package, and with HID.

They are all telling me that they don't make HID. And if i want luxury package i would have to order one. Well you got a great deal.

just bought my new 09 is250 auto rwd , got dealer to give me about 2100 below dealer price (dealer price is all the addon), plus they gave me 2000 more than what my trade was worth, haha. total about 4100 in money i saved, plus i refinanced through my bank for an additional saving of 2100 for the life of the loan. total saving about 6200 once the car is paid off. not bad.

it wasnt EZ to get that deal, we actually walk away but the sale manager was desperate to sale. that was a long 4 hours negoiation. well worth the time.

"...below dealer price"... you'll have to specify that as either below sticker price or below invoice. Those are two entriely different things. If below invoice, that is impossible. A dealer would be losing serious money on such a deal and that is not how they stay open for business. $2100 below sticker sounds more right and about average for a 2009 sale in December.

I paid $33,012 before tx & lic. with nav. Sticker was $37,600. I am in Socal. Every dealer I dealt with was SUPER reluctant to meet my price. They all were acting like we are not in a recession, and that lexus cars are flying out of the dealerships....really started pissing me off....
.....I ended up paying $1000 more than I wanted!!

It's my 3rd IS250....I still LOVE the car though!

That's a great deal.
I paid couple dollars more for the same setup not long ago. Was it hard to get dealers to commit with that price?

no not at all it was quick and painless. i was coming in for an 08 and they sold it right before i came in so i was about to leave to go to another dealership but he offered me an 09 for the same price so i jumped on it. i think it would be cheaper now .. with the economy in the shape that it is. so if anyone wants a lexus now is the time!

i just got my is250 a week ago and got it for 32,200 before tx & lic. but it took 3 hrs and 5 dealerships to get it for that price. I also live in socal i got mine from the dealership at newport. i think all the dealerships have the same MSRP on is250s thats what it seemed like after shopping around 37,600 exact. it is pretty easy to get them go sell for 33,000 but that extra 800 off took alot of work and we ended up leavin the dealership at 11:30. by the end all the excitement of gettin a new car was gone lol

btw it was an 09' with nav and premium, HID, 18", floor mats and he even threw in 3 free washes on top of the washes that come wid the regular maintenance. these dealerships are pretty much desperate to get you drivin out with a lexus and especially since its the end of the year they are pressured even more. i also found it helped comin at the end of the night.

I just closed a deal yesterday on a special order for about $1000 over invoice (plus a $299 "doc fee" if you want to count that). I ordered a 2009 IS250 RWD auto with luxury package and parking assist.

MSRP: $36,030

Invoice: $31,812

Purchase Price: $32,800 (+ $299 "doc fee")

OTD Price: $35,547.94

So about $1300 over invoice, about $2900 under MSRP. I put down a $2000 deposit.
