Does anyone know if the new center vents fit the older model? I like the black a lot better. Anyone at a dealership want to try?

if you only change the center vents, won't the color mismatch with the lower portion, the nav area?

the nav area is grey-er, and your ac vents will be black-er

interesting...I'd like to see what it looks like, if you like those new vents I think you should go for it. I don't have any connections with dealerships though. Good luck, and if u get them installed post up the pics.

In order for the new center vents to work I believe you have to change out the Radio faceplate too.

On the 2009 models and up the center vents and radio faceplate controls got revised. I believe you're talking about the black trim that is present on the 2010+ IS F

The new vents will NOT fit without some modifaction and an 09+ stereo/sat nav unit. The newer stereo/nav has a different shaped top half to fit flush with the new design. The older style vents are bigger, the newer vents are much narrower. Even with the correct nav, I had to modify and chop alot of tabs etc off the back of the new vents to fit my 07 car.
