Default Front Bumper Damage

So I was driving on the 110 Fwy around Downtown L.A. last night at about 10pm. I was in the #2 lane and there was a pick-up truck in the #3 lane about 2 cars ahead of me. A roll of carpet fell out of the back of the truck and rolled into my lane, giving me no time to swerve (and there were cars on either side of me). I ran over the carpet, and nothing at the time sounded broken. I got home and discovered this:

Any suggestions? I was thinking of getting a body kit anyways, maybe this is a nice excuse to get one! Insurance options for a replacement stock bumper?

Get in on the Sewell GFX front lip for $70. Cheaper than the stock lip!!!!!!! You might need new clips and screws.

At least you can use the insurance $$$ to fund the bodykit

Doesnt look like the clips and screws need replacing. Looks "only" to be "cosmetic"...I hope.

That sucks that you couldn't get out of the way because cars were all around you.

Damage doesn't loo too serious from the pics. You might want to see if your insurance will cover it. The easiest way to resolve the situation would be to listen to VikH and get in on the GB for the gfx font lip from Sewell. Good luck.

can't tell the extent of damage from the pics, but the OEM front lip does come apart in the middle by design. maybe you can unscrew and see if it can be fitted back. If not yeah the sewell group buy for front gfx lip is coming up. not sure on the grill though.
