Guys,

I just got my IS250 not too long ago. I always feel that my IS250 doesn't look right and I couldn't tell why. Until I realize this. My license plate mount/ holder is wider than the license plate frame. It seems like my license plate is mounting on a thin, wide black color brick in front of my bumper. Do you guys also has the same thing? I was told that IS250s are imported from Canada and Japan. Does the ones from Canada has the same problem?

this should be the dealer's fault. i would go back and tell them to fix it.

We get that in Dubai too, it's slightly wider than the place, but I have a wide license plate too so it's not a problem

One of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. All 2nd generation IS sedans are manufactured and imported from Japan.

It looks normal to me...My license plate holder looks the same. All IS I seen the front license plates are like yours.

Is that normal? Is there an aftermarket one that fits better? I remember seeing some IS in car shows don't have the extra 2cm wide on the side. Hum,..

i know they make a brakcet that holds full size plates. It screws into the tow hook and is offset.
