I just picked up a set with those exact specs
let me ask you something. why do most ppl get 22+ offset? i thought the lower the offset the more tucked in the wheel would look... and the higher the offset, the more it would stick out and line up with the fenders. maybe im wrong, can someone school me please

will i also have to do any fender mods with those offsets? planning on running 225/35/19 and 255/35/19

complete opposite. the lower the offset the flush it would look.
Easiest way to understand offsets its for you to google it and read it on wiki. So you can see diagrams and everything. If you wanna calculate offsets you can always use an offset calculator online.

usually for every inch you have +13 offsets. For example a 9.5 +22 wheel has the same offset as a 10.5 +35. But one wheel is one inch wider than the other, but the center of the wheel is the same distance from the outside in.

A set of TE 37s 8.5 and 9.5 +22 will have the same concaveness as a set of 9.5 and 10.5 +35, but the 9.5 and 10.5 will have more lip.

I hope that helps, but the simplest way to understand its really googling and looking at diagrams and using an offset calculator.

The wheels that i had for sale, the Progressive MEs are less aggressive than the ones that you just got. Even though they are 8.5 +29 and 10.5 +43.

Regarding fender mods you need to relocate the tabs from the front bumper and roll or shave your rears. Depending on how low you are you need to roll your fronts as well.

I have the same TE specs as you and i use 225/35/19 and 235/35/19 and i still rub. You most likely need a 255/30/19 on the rears.

thanks for the very informative reply, im not planning on slamming the car, just lowering and leaving a one finger gap between tires/fenders... i still have to roll fenders?

^most likely because when you decompress your springs you will still rub.
Highway dips and coming in and out of steep driveways.

I am looking to pick up a set of TE37's and was wondering...

Why do some sets have a flat face on the front wheel and some have a concave face?

The concavity all ties into the width and offset. If you read above, IS25Heaven explained it pretty well.

I have three sets of wheels I have been looking at to buy. They all say that the fronts are 19x8.5 +22, but two of them are concave and one is flat. Are you saying that the guy with the flat face is wrong in thinking that he has an offset of +22?

Nevermind, your right. I just texted him and the fronts are +25.
