So since this thread is specifically related to Volks wheels I have a question.

I'd like to perferably get 19" TE37SL wheels but I want 255 front and 285 Rear tires.

The only sizes available for this wheel in 19" is as follows:

19x9.5 +22
19x10.5 +22

Will these fit with 255 tires and 285 tires in the rear without rubbing or fender work? or would you guys suggest 18" if I want wider tires on?

I'm on OEM suspensions right now but plan to install aftermarket springs in future.

on your ISF? no, you will rub pretty badly.

Thanks for the advice, but why am I seeing people on this thread with similar specs?

Do they have fenders rolled or something?

With those specs you are sticking outside your fenders. You will need fenders work ISF or not. 18s not going to help if you are going lower.

Add me to the club

Progressiv ME powder coated red
19x8.5 +35 225/40/19
19x9.5 +35 255/35/19

Reason for the odd tire sizes was cause I had these on my 3GS which had AWD

Love those! Im new here and obviously newbish.I have a opportunity at a set of f-zero challenges for really cheap but I'm worried they'll be a horrible fitment. I think it's skyline fit 18 8.0 +32 and 18 9.0 +40. What do you guys think?

Does anyone know the difference between the TE37 and the TE37SL? Is the SL model forged the same way? I’m trying to decide which to buy. With such a small difference in weight, I’d opt for the stronger wheel.

hi guys,

I'm new here. I would like to ask if this wheels & tires combination is going to fit on my 2008 IS350:
Volk Racing GT7: 2 x (18 x 7.5 +50 ET) and 2 x (18 x 8 +55 ET). 5 x 114.3
Michelin Pilot Super Sports 235/40ZR18 & 265/35ZR18
Also, seller is asking for $1050, is this worth it?

Thanks

a few questions i would ask are:

Are you the sole or only owner of the Wheels?
Have any ever been bent or bent and still drivable?

when i was searching for mine, i came across a set of Rays Engineering/Volk Racing wheels for under $800 which is super cheap for 18"s

i did my research and luckily found the original owner, who told me they had been passed down at least 2-3 times and knew at the bare min., one was bent really bad

i wouldn't let a small drivable bend deter you because i actually had a tiny bent 18" Rays/Volk Wheel that didn't effect balancing due to rough roads in Los Angeles and NYC + Low Profile Tires

what i would ask, if the seller could meet you at a Tire Shop, have them make sure all balance correctly, any visual signs of repairs, cracking, major curb rashes etc.

the Seller i got my most current set let me take them to a shop while i gave him my ID to make sure, they weren't going to be a wasted 1,000 mile road trip
