i just got mine.. gonna install it right now.

do i NEED to get the silicone spray?

blah, im stuck on part c5.. i cant drop the damn e ring. it says use a screwdriver but there is no holes to put the screwdriver into

that e-ring is a royal pain in the ***! it's a lil hard taking it off but even harder putting it back on!

Use a small flat tip screwdriver and use a plier to install it.

did you get past the e-ring? if not, use two long flat heads, one at each end of the E and push as the same time.
As for silicone spray, i didn't have any, so i used WD40.

yea i finished, its GRRRREAT. it seems like its halfway to the original shifts.. i almost kept pushing cause i thought it was the limit

took me about 3 hours.. I kept stopping cause i got mad at it.

the hardest part for me was to get the dust boot in. i keep thinking i was gonna rip it open cause thats how i got the stock one off

haha, almost the same time as me. It very frustrating, especially because you have no room to do anything. But it was all well worth it i think.

I have to say, having owned a 6MT, that the before and after difference is pretty amazing. Thanks for the video

I wonder why that isn't just standard on the 6MT? I mean, I never heard anyone say "Man, if only this shifter had LONGER throws."
