You should get neither first. Get some coilovers and lower your ride. Then get the exhaust or front lip. Check the classifieds you might find what you're looking for.

wow! that's a lot of feedback! a lot of you guys said exhaust first. i guess i could go for the sound. cuz right now she's so quiet. i just want a little loudness. thanks for all the advice. i'll keep you guys posted.

drop first! if not, start with small pieces like red-outs,led interior lights,DRL's,foglight.etc.

yes, i got my IS from santa monica then drove it to washington. it was the best drive ever! i used to live in CA but i had to move to washington because this is were my duty station is.
