Default Who has driven the 250 and 350?

Do you feel the 250 is a big step down power wise? Does both car handle the same with the exception of HP?

Thanks

I have a 350 and when i took my car to lexus for service they gave me a 250 loaner car. To tell you the truth, regular driving, you wouldn't really notice the difference. It's pretty much the same, but i noticed a BIG difference when you punch it. the response on a 250 lags a lot and not that fast compared to a 350. If you had the choice, I would go with the 350 anyday. it's just more fun to drive.

The best way is: just go to your local dealership and request a test drive for comparison.

Here is my personal experience: I have tested drive both of them, at the same time, same place. For 350: you really need to press the accelerator to some extent to feel/release the 300+ hp potential, if you do so, you can tell it's a 350 not 250. Under daily/normal driving situations, 250 and 350 feels nearly the same, no big difference for me. The 250 is already zippy, it accelerate really good when start at the red light, or merge into the freeway traffic, or passing another car on the highway.

If you like racing and want to put your car on the track, you need to get a 350; if you mainly use it for daily driving, 250 should be a clever choice. Especially if you need to take some trips that will pass broad rural area that are full of uncertainty about gas quality/availability (our 250 only take premium), just like some aviation engineers like to compare aircraft's 'service range', you definitely need 250. She's very fuel efficient and I always get 400+ mile/tank, even I drive very aggresively.

Hands down, pay the extra money and get the 350! You live in Florida and experience absolutely no snow. The 100 hp makes a big difference.

ive driven both and the 250 is so slow and sluggish feeling compared to the 350. lexus should have made the difference a bit closer together.

If you get the 250 never drive a 350..
I have a GS300;drove a 400...Been wanting a 400 since..And my cousin who drove a 525i..it was too slow then drove a 530i...(ooh nicer)...then the dealer said drive the 545i..ooh sweet.Walked out with that...then unfortunately drove a 550i and now wants one
