Stock Ballast Melted!

Hi Guys,
I actually spoke with Lexman350 this morning (I just saw this and received Lexman's email).
As discussed with Lexman the problem could have occured due to several reasons however we are working Leman to resolve this issue.
To clarify though, the D4 flickering problem has nothing to do with the quality of the bulb. The reason for the flickering is due to the fact that the OEM Denso ballast is sensitive to aftermarket D4 bulbs. The higher K D4 bulbs use a different mixture of gases than the standard D4 bulbs which sometimes can cause the OEM ballast to think that the bulb is burnt out (which it is not). As a result, the light flickers. We did have some problems with some of the D4 bulbs that we sold however we stood by the product and resolved the situation every single time. I just wan to clarify that this flickering problem was isolated to d4 upgrades and has nothing to do with getting an HID kit to upgrade your stock halogen bulbs.
Steve

he's an approved CL vendor. i highly recommend his products. Their ballasts are STOUT as jeff said. His ballasts are shockproof and waterproof!

****Update****
I spoke to Steve from Xenon Depot about the issue and he was more than understanding about my issue and wants to do everything he can to make sure I am taken care of. Although I am disappointed that it happened I am glad that Xenon Depot is standing strong behind their product. I am waiting for the Lexus Dealer service manager to get back to me with a price quote so I can send it to Steve and we can work on a resolution from there.

out of curiosity...I know things aren't final in your case but so if it's determined that the bulbs caused the damage to the ballasts, will XenonDepot pay for all damages? I'd like to know the answer to this ahead of time so I know I'm atleast somewhat protected since I have the same bulbs.

This happened to some other member on the forums. I remember he mentioned his whole headlight assembly caught on fire. The funny part was that slightly after he posted that thread a mod deleted his thread for bashing on xenondepot. I remember saving the pictures of it, let me find the pics.
I have been running the oracle bulbs with no problems.

wow. I wonder if I should even keep these bulbs now. Does anyone know if their HID kits (Xtreme kits) have problems as well (I have 9006 kit for the fogs) or is just mostly these D4S bulbs?

As Steve from xenon depot said there is no problem with the 9006 HID kit. This only pertains to the D4S Bulb.
