You don't buy an IS 250 to race. Its not that car. FYI the Mugen Civic got slightly worse times in Road and Track than a stock Si.
I couldn't consider being in a Civic if I was past 7 years old, I don't care how fast it is. The stigma of it smells. Half of them in Atlanta are 1/2 painted or dented with HID 10k kits or bulbs trying to race with no signals every day.
Its for children.

Hawaii is different..
If I had a is250 here in the states. I am sure everyone would bother me and try to race me. That's why I would leave it stock and not attract too much unwanted attention.

Um yeah... didn't read much on the follow up but I hope you IS250 hopefuls know that the Mugen Civic and Civic Si has the SAME AMOUNT of power. The Mugen Civic just has a few parts on it with a nice price tag.
I still don't get what you guys are debating about here... seems like a lot of gibberish.
Stock Mugen Civic/Si > IS2slo when it comes to performance (stock and modded equally)
Looks IS250 > Mugen Si
As for drivers who got a GS350 instead of a GS430/GS460... same reasons as others have stated. I got it because it had BIGGER cabin room and a REAL backseat for guest riding outback. Plus I sold my civic to get a nicer car, given I did all the **** I wanted to it so the speed and racing phase was over for me. Hum... makes me thing, the money I spent in mods could have got a 460... oh well looks before gas guzzling and speed and blah blah blah

alot goes through my mind when i read this topic, i understand your point about this vs that, but lets get serious here a IS or a SI, not same platform of vehicle.
IS250 is slow yes but we didnt buy the 250 for that , it was for the look of the car.
It sounds like you want the most bang for you buck, then i would get the SI, but if you want a classier looking car, and not have people assume your a 17 year kid then get the IS.
Personally i think the TSX or TL has more to offer than a stock 250 but once again it all comes down to looks of the exterior.

who differnt ball park, the civic isnt even in the lexus class. luxury vs rice. u want to compare similar cars like llama said. c300 vs is250 vs tsx.

even if its faster what exactally are you trying to prove ? or find out? just look at stats and specs . compare those you should get the answer your looking for.

^^ Exactly, if you really want speed and luxury, get 350. If you can't save up. If you are too lazy to save up, then stop complaining.
