Sorry, I didn't take pics of the wheels before I repainted. I started working on the wheels as soon as I came home from picking them up lol. It was BAD though. The oem paint looked like it had some type of chemical spilled on it. When I was wet sanding the wheels, some of the baked brake dust came off. Then I would start wetsanding more black marks that I thought were baked on brake dust, but it wasn't. Turned out to be the primer or sealant that was used on the wheel... i realized it when the black areas were becoming larger as I wetsanded.

I'm not running spacers on the wheels. Offsets are +30 in the front, +33 in the back.

Still thinking of what route to take for centercaps.

on a side note, the 2is center caps don't fit. i'm sure there are blank ones out there the OP can find/use. some guy had a set for sale in the wheels FS/FT section, so they are out there.

I still have the Infiniti center caps- maybe I'll sand them down (the front, ie: infiniti emblem) and use some epoxy to glue on some sanded down (from the back, ie: tabs) lexus center caps. Maybe I'll just find some blank center caps to put on them. Who knows, kinda just going with whatever comes up and having fun with them haha.
from what i've seen, you won't be able to sand them down to remove the infiniti logo; they're embossed from the inside out. just not enough plastic there.

i don't know if he's running spacers either, but they're 19 x 8 up front and 19 x 8.5 in the rear. they look flush because the spokes stick out a little bit more.

Nice pics and the wheels look good. Nice of you to post your refurb story with Duplicolor. I have had great luck with Duplicolor products myself.

Looks like a really good fitment on there - without seeing a side shot. I thinking these, in a little darker color (something like liquid graphite), would look pretty hot on SP/GFM.

BTW, how deep was the curb rash and how did you repair it?

Thanks again for the compliments everyone!

Tommigsr, I probably won't be getting them powdercoated for a while.

Eldr1dgE, I'm running the Infiniti stock size tires (F: 225/40/19, R: 245/40/19) that originally came with the wheels, but they need to be replaced SOON.

After driving with them today, I did notice some SLIGHT rubbing in the front when I turn the wheel completely either left or right... extremely minimal rubbing- so minimal that sometimes you don't hear or feel it rubbing. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what size replacement tires I could go with (front and rear)? Keep in mind the offsets are +30 Front and +33 Rear.

And one more thing, I didn't have a chance to take pictures today. It was dark by the time I came home. If I remember later on, I'll put my POS digital cam in my car so that I can take pics tomorrow. Kinda hard now to get good lighting from the sun since it goes down sooner now.
