Default projectdna, mooncake transporter (part 2) - 56k good luck

so i last left this thread about my adventures as a mooncake transporter:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=389466

with this pic:

(it's alright, fellow 2is owners, that was just a temporary state.)

and people have been asking... what kinda mooncakes ya got?

and to answer that question, without further ado:

forged OEM 19's for the G35, made by rays engineering

specs are as follows:

front
size: 19 x 8
offset: +30mm
weight: 19 lbs

rear
size: 19 x 8.5
offset: +33mm
weight: 21 lbs

just two shots of these on my 2is:

a few things for those that have thought about running these:

1. run 225/35-19 up front, 255/35-19 in the rear. this will keep your rolling diameter a few tenths of a percent within the 2is's stock rolling diameter (18's at least).

2. you may not need hubcentric rings, but i recommend them. the right size is 66.1-60.1 (66.1 being the outer diameter size, 60.1 being the inner diameter size). you can get them @ 1010tires.com (ships from canada) or justforwheels.com (ships from florida).

3. the TPMS sensors for the 2is will fit these rims. i am running my stock TPMS sensors in these.

4. the stock lugnuts for the 2is will not fit these rims. you will need a set of aftermarket lugs (i.e. muteki, kics).

5. the stock center cap for the 2is will not fit these rims. you can either choose to re-use the infiniti center caps that comes with these (if they came packaged) or go on ebay and find some blank ones.

6. yes, they WILL clear the is350 brakes. these 19's were made to clear the optional brembo calipers on the G35.

thanks to:

* javyLSU, T-Rex06, pocky - you three got me thinking rims. shame on you three.
* benxd - awesome seller. stay cool, and don't be supershy.
* isuxel - it was that pic of your 2is w/ these that had me convinced.
* mrhappi - it was seeing your SC w/ these that had me thinking.
* cyrus @ JC auto house for the swap and where to get new lugs that fit
* justforwheels.com for the hubcentric rings

I was an inspiration!

That's weird that you say the stock lug nuts don't fit. Cause they did for me without a problem and I used no hubcentric rings.

Looks like another perfect match for the G35 wheels. Looks stock but not, if that makes any sense.
