Feel Better...I hope your car will recover as soon as possible...And it has to be in NY where all these unexpected crazy things happen....I still remember when the old guy struck my car while he was backing up from a sidewalk and struck me while I was waiting for traffic ahead of me...then told the police that he didn't hit my car and my car door was like that before...

Oh that's awful! Sorry man. Looks like owning a silver car that day was not working out! I am sure you won't be parking on a street much from this point on.

My IS wouldnt crank, nothing was leaking. It took me 3 times before it would run. Does anyone have any clues as to why???? It starts up fine now. one shot.

This happend in Kew Gardens/Forest Hills.
He said his foot slipped and hit the gas instead of the brakes.
He can FORGET about having insurance is more like it LOL. they will prob give him the boot because of this
I am very luck with the damge I was definitely definitely definitely very lucky since I moved my car. Look at the pic below
I get to work at 0450AM, at that time the meters are empty but the free spots are not.
I parked in the Red box in the morning and dont try to move the car after that I would just feed the meter every 2 hrs. My coworker gets off at 0930 and was parked at the green box, so when he pulled out i pulled into his spot, WHOO free spot. If he didnt have that spot i would have just left it where i parked at the first place. Good thing because I would have been the first to get slammed, BADLY. the parking meter is in Blue just to make it stand out.
Free parking spots are between the black line, and we all had a good 2-3feet between the ML, IS, MAX.
