Yup... normal mode actually shifts at the highest rpms-

Power mode will downshift rapidly in 4th-6th when you either punch the gas or brake and it will hold gear in 2nd-5th if you suddenly let off the gas.... that's it.

Snow mode is just playing transmission programming tricks in the other direction, to discourage wheel spin in low traction conditions.

I use snow mode in bumper-to-bumper stop-and-go traffic. It makes the car much easier to drive smoothly. As soon as the road opens up, I turn it off.

I dont have it on all the time, just when i want to cruise. About 4 days a week and not all day because sometimes i forget to turn it on when i start the car.
