Default lexus touch up paint

I have a 1 inch scratch, and one door ding. Im very pissed off and frustrated. I hate parking at school!!

Well the question is that how good is the lexus touch up paint. Any thoughts on it would be very helpful. Thank you.

it will stand out even more because there won't by any clear coat on the touch-up paint.

why not just be thoughtful on to where you park? Don't park in crowded areas and always look out for spots that are next to a curb and not in the middle of the lot to avoid parking next to inconsiderate people that could give 2 ****s about your car.

I have been doing that for the past 3 months. But I just recently started school early in the morning and there isn't much of parking at school...

man i feel u...parking in the clear is not an option at school...u lucky if u can even find a open spot...but yea..it helps alil to fill in the dent but there is no clear coat like the dude said, but if u dont mind seeing a dull spot den go for it. but if it does, best bet is to take it to a shop...that u can trust for them to repair it..good luck man.

Most of the time it makes the damage look even cheesier..I would just leave it and try not to look at those areas..that's how I treat all my rock chips from the freeways 'round here

the touch up paint has two sides....1 side for paint and another for the clear coat....ive used it on my car and it does match the paint well but its still really hard to get it on smooth if its not just a scratch

Thanks a lot for giving me advice. It just annoying just to see my car like this.

Never seen a touch up paint bottle like that. The official Lexus/Toyota paint available anywhere here is in a bottle that has changed very little over the years. Same bottle that Dupli-Color paints use so I've always wondered if they don't supply Toyota with the paint. Got my bottle from my dealer, part #00258-008U0 for black sapphire pearl.

Got my multistage touch up from paintscratch.com... came with 3 pens: base, mid, and clear.

I agree with you; that is exactly what I got from our local dealer for my LS 460L black sapphire pearl........ no clear coat.
