my car start vibrate at idle, only happens when the car is in gear (D or R), when I put to N, the vibration goes away. Also no vibration when the car start moving, even moving very slowly. very strange, does this sounds like a transmission mount problem? couple days ago I install lower spring (1.4" drop) , I do not believe it caused the vibration at idle in gear.

any idea?

i have the same vibration. I think its normal. My IS is completely stock.

How many miles on ur oil change already? I believe when your oil get old your engine not smooth as it new oil...I dont know how much ur vibration your car has but...Sometime when cold wealther make them vibrate a liltle too... My car got liltle vibrate since where i live the weather is gettin cold..Im gonna do my oil change in a couple days see how it work out. Dont worry ..if u want u can take it to dealer to check out I dont think you have to pay anything.

Thank you, here in Toronto, Canada is getting cold as well. Yes I'm going to call dealer tomorrow.

it's normal. most, if not all, v shaped engines will vibrate and you'll feel it.

even in a luxury car like the IS.

I was disappointed by how much I felt.

It's not a lot but, still. it's a friggin Lexus.

went to dealer today, I was told it's because of my lower spring added stiffness.
