Install VAIS SLx in 2006 Lexus IS 350
I have a 2006 Lexus IS 350 w/o navigation. Does anyone have detailed installation instructions on how to install the SLX in this vehicle (ex. How to remove the molding and the head unit, placement of the controller and receiver).

See the thread on how to remove everything. The VAIS cable just plugs into the back. See the manual on instructions on how to program the VAIS.

The last post definitely helps on how to remove the trim and head unit. I guess once I get behind the head unit I will find a place to hide and install the VAIS controller and XM receiver.

My vais unit is hidden in a little crevice between the shifter and arm rest. The cable comes out of the cup holder in the arm rest so the ipod and everything is nicely tucked away.
