Default Jacking Up The Rear

Essentially is 250 2007, and im trying to jack up the rear, problem being its not exactly my car and i want to be as careful as possible i see some places that would be good but i dont want to take risks, where is a good places to jack up the rear keeping in mind that i only want to jack up one side at a time, also where would i put the jack stands,

Use the jack points on either side of the vehicle. Check the User Manual - it gives all the info you need.

Owners manual says to use the rear diff as a jacking point IIRC, im able to jack it but where exactly is a safe place to put the jack stand

In the center of the diff. Thats deff. the best place. Just use a good mecanhics jack and u won't have a prob. U have jacked a car up before, right

Yes hahaha sorry im used to working on my volvo, when my friend brings his IS over i get nervous his car worth x2 mine and if anything screws up ill get the blame anything happens to volvo well ill just fix it on my time.

try jacking up the car on the frame, prob safest place

Use the differential. Put a wood block on the jack to avoid scarring the diff housing. Put the jackstands on the jack points under the floor pan seam. Lower the car slowly on to the seams. Life will be fine, and you'll be able to remove both wheels at the same time.
