The top model (MR) only comes with an automatic (DSG - like) manual, so you don't really need to know how to drive a stick to drive an Evo any more.
I wouldn't necessarily consider the MR the top model. Sure, it's the most expensive but I really think it's been hamstrung by a tranny that can't handle power.
I'm not too sure if I like the new evo's. I loved the evo VIII. The rear on the X is something I have to grow into. Other than that, the car is nice! I wish I had all that power the EVO has.
wow, I just got my 350 and i'm already thinking about trading in for the EVO next year.. How's the drive comparing to the 350? You think you're going to get sick of it? I know those are stupid questions, but just wondering!

You feel a lot more connected to the car with the Evo, basically, you just need to drive one to understand. Whether or not I'll get sick of the car remains to be seen. I've had it for about 10 months and haven't regretted the change at all.
