Default Right Rear Mud Flap loose/hanging HELP ON WHAT TO DO

A few days back, after coming out of the tollbooth, I unfortunately hit roadkill that was pretty big on the highway. Now, my rear mudflap is loose and hanging but i kind of pushed it back in. however, its not as tight as the other mud flaps. will the dealership do it for free or how can i fix it?

thanks in advance

Its held on by bolts. You can go to the dealer or Lowes and just look for bolts.

if you caused the mudflap to be damaged, why do you think that the dealership should fix it for you for free

Gee, it would be like you hit roadkill & your front bumper came off & now you what the dealership to put it back on for free!!

It's easy to fix yourself, just screw back on.

He's probably referring to the air diffusers that sit right in front of the wheels near the rear of the side skirt. I (and several other CL members) have had problems with the clips coming out by themselves - repeatedly. I solved this problem by simply zip-tying the diffuser to the holes in the chassis. Problem solved.

There is 2 push pin type clips and a bolt that hold them on. Just go to the other side of the car and take the middle clip out and transfer it to the outside hole on the right side. Then you can go to the dealer and buy a couple of new clips.

could you just take them off completely? ive been wondering that, and if you could do the same with the flap that comes down under the front bumper behind the lip.

^Just fish the ziptie through the hole - you'll see it come out from around the chassis beam.

Once you get it fixed, start a new thread with
"fixed my mudflap, with pics!!!" in the title!

You 2IS guys are funny!
