You guys realize you're replying with tire advice to an OP who asked for help over a year ago right?
Anyway, skip the PS2s... Hankook Ventus V12 Evo- similar performance for about 50% of the cost-

Have you utilized the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo? Anyone else running them now?
I'm curious if the layman would notice a difference between them and the OEM Bridgestone Potenza (sp?)?
I'm not a big fan of these Bridgestone tires. I'm no expert on the topic, but they seem loud and unforgiving.

i jus got a set of HANKOOK VENTUS EVO tires and for the money they are good tires. ride smooth and quiet. theres been alot of rain here in socal so i tested them a little bit in the rain they do pretty well. not much traction in wet in low gears (1 and 2nd wot) but they grab for sure in the dry.i would suggest these for ppol who are looking to save money on decent tires. there are a lot oher out there but i personally have these so i will recommend them.

I have Hankooks on my Dodge truck and love them. I have Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S on my IS350 and hate them. They're wearing very well (at 13k) but are so noisy, we can barely stand it. I'm trying to get America's Tire to do something about them. Maybe I can get them to put me into a set of the Hankooks.

I just recently got em for the ride and they are very good tires for what you pay for. I had the origional Extreme Contacts but they were kinda noisy. The improved DWS is much quiter and runs smoother. Plus you can't beat the 500 tread wear and 50,000 mile warranty. There is a review somewhere where I think C&D tested them against 2 other big manufactures.

I replaced my front tires with Hankooks about 3 weeks ago. At first they seemed a little soft and my steering wasn't as crisp. But after a break-in period of a couple hundred miles, the soft feeling went away and I'm very happy with them. I don't drive my car hard though. From reviews I've read they have a soft sidewall, which is a problem if you track your car.
