Default Is there, will there be an AWD IS350?

The only reason I'm thinking of getting a IS250 is because they offer it in AWD and I live in the North east where we get quite a bit of snow. Is there an AWD version available for the IS350?

This has been discussed many times this year and last year. it is highly unlikely Lexus will release a 350 AWD due to cost and moving units.

The next progression is the GS350 AWD.

Lexus wants to keep IS350 pricing territory below GS350 prices. An base AWD IS350 may be more expensive than a base GS350.

Perhaps, if speed is your only priority you should probably look else where. But if you have multiple priorities the IS might work out perfectly for you.

what are you driving now?

Buy an IS350 and a spare set of rims with GOOD snow tires.

People drove in the northeast for most of a century without AWD ya know.

And they did it without navs, heated seats, etc, etc, too.

.
There's a snow mode on the IS350? how is the IS350 in icy conditions? Does anyone drive their 350 in areas that get snow?

If I wanted a fast AWD car I'd be looking at Mitsubishi and Subaru

If you need the power, look at a 350 with snow tires or a spare swap as others have recommended. The 250 AWD is not a powerhouse, but it does perform excellent in adverse weather. Very safe for families.

Default awd jeep srt-8

If you really want serious fast awd vehicle that embarrasses subaru sti's and mitsubishi's evo's check out the chrysler SRT-8 jeep (6.1 hemi engine). Gas mileage sucks but these jeeps are pretty rare and are excellent winter vehicles as well .
