The problem is the edges will look horrible. It's a flat kit, so it will look just stuck on.
I used to manufacture dash kits (not cf or wood, just real aluminum and stainless) and when all these new cars came out with the complex shaped dashes, it was basically impossible to get a decent looking kit on. Molded kits are the way to go since they will cover everything. But looking at those pics, it's just a flat laser cut kit. Look at the piece that goes around the nav screen. It doesn't even cover up to the edges. It just sits on top of the flat spot in the middle. You'll end up seeing the edge of the CF and the tape underneath. It looks good in pics, but not in real life.

overlay is the only option unless you have the parts replaced. IMO the best is to get the Silver OEM trim pieces and call it a day. The overlay is good that Carson had. Fitment was good IMO and so was the quality. For what I paid new for them I wouldnt do again. Buy them used if you can find a set in good condition.
