NAVTool Unit

Video In harness

Cheap $60 DVD player I'm gonna use.

When I get around to installing it I will take pix and everything. Its pretty vstraight forward. Unplug two factory plugs and plug this in and plug in the A/V wires. Theres two video outputs for rear monitors included in the unit. Its allows two inputs, the second activated by hitting seek or using the +12V trigger for some sort of back up camera which is useless to us cuz we already have it with nav.

DVD more convenient. Ipod I have to connect it everytime I get into car.

Where did you buy the dvd player? Will it fit in glove box?

got on ebay...i'm planning on hanging it with the side brackets it comes with in the glove box. It will clear the filter door if you hang it. Can't put on the bottom of the glove box cuz it won't clear the door. I just have to remove the shelf if I still want to leave my car/nav manual in there too.

ACC - Orange- Pin 11
+12V - Green - Pin 1
GND - White/Black - Pin 20

just got done installing everything. The wiring and everything turned out good but that PYLE dvd is a POS. You get what you pay for I guess. I dont know if its the dvd player or the cables but there a ***** load of alternator whine. The dvd player turns on everytime you start the car even if it was off before...isnt that what the constant power is for? to keep the previous state. I had to rig a switch to keep it off when I'm not using the DVD player. Volumn output is low too.

Anyway I will do a full write up tomorrow when I have some time. Lots of pics and useful info on installing it.

Sorry to hear the Pyle is a pile. Sounds like you need a noise choke on the power feed.
