Any Suggestions for mods?
Hey guys, I'm new to CL, as you can probably tell already. I purchased an IS 350 around two months ago. It had a little under 13k on it and came with tinted windows, Injen intake, SP2 Greddy exhaust, and I think that's about it. I'm still learning new things about my new toy. Before I purchased the car, it had blacked out tail lights, but because it won't pass the Missouri state inspection, they were removed and switched out with the regular tail lights. The previous owner put brand new stock tires and rims on. I've been looking at a lot of the featured 2IS around the forums and realized all the things you could possibly do to the car. So question is... Where should I start with the modding? I am not planning on putting tens of thousands into my car because I will be heading off to college after I'm done with school so I just want some low end mods that will make my 2IS look a bit better. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Will do. Maybe I'll go do that now. Hahahaha.
The pictures are not the best, but will have to do for now.
The car is a bit dirty because it just snowed here. : P

You should start with cosmetic mods, to make your car your own.
Inexpensive mods include HID kits for the headlight and foglights (Xenon Depot has $120 kits that you can easily install), Junction Produce neck pads (check the Vendor Forums), lowering springs ($250 for springs, about $200 installation), powdercoating your wheels (usually $500 for all four), LED interior lights (those are really inexpensive, less than $30 for the front and rear dome lights), or, if you can find it, a ClubLexus decal for free...

one suggestion... drop first then rims, a dropped car on stockers always looks nicer than a stock height car on rims, ALWAYS springs+install = 500ish, coilovers+install = under 2k, airrunner+install = *cough* 4k and UP
AND as Phillip suggested, led int. lighting mods, you can do the whole car *all major blubs* on the cheep for about 150 give or take 20bucks, no sense have a full show car in the day and ugly stock lighting at nite

I say get coilovers instead of springs and it will save you money in the future when you decide to switch (I have springs but want coilovers as many do, but will get it after I get a body kit and maybe rims) Also you should get a rear sway bar, its under $200 and you will notice huge differences. Then go for cosmetic mods after since there are limitless possibilities for that.

how will coilovers save you money in the future?
are most ppl using stock shocks with aftermarket springs/coil overs?
and HID lights are not the same as the luxary package projector lights right?
and where can you get interior led lights
and what is the most common drop with springs? 2"drop?

If you don't have them, redouts. Cheapest mod.
Increasing in price (rough estimate):
Redouts, city lights/interior LED swaps, intake, illuminated sills, HID swap/kit, springs, badges, (I would stop here to avoid $$$) wing, lip, exhaust.
