I just purchased some D4 bulbs and a fog light conversion kit from xenondepot after reading some reviews here about how awesome they are, but now after I did some more extensive research i'm finding out alot of people have problems with them. Are these cases mostly isolated or are they pretty widespread because i'm having second thoughts about my purchase, and I might want to cancel the order.

So do you guys that actually have the xenondepot kit and bulb think you made the right decision when you chose the XD kit and bulb or do you now regret it?

i installed some XD d4s bulbs in weespeds car awhile ago and he has no problems. It is my opinion that most ppl who have bulb problems, reguardless of brand, is due to installer error... as a matter of fact i've replaced quite a few bulbs for members here and not once have i gotten a complaint about bulbs/condensation and here in hawaii we live with 60% humidity minimum everyday...

weesped also had XD 3000k hid fog kit installed by REV-01, no problems there either.

I am totally happy with my purchase. I think the posts you read were regarding an older batch of bulbs.

i had my OEM HID and fogs replaced within 2 weeks of purchasing the vehicle, so far im almost on my 2nd month with the car no problems (flickering, failure to start, turning off on one side) cross my fingers

ive gone thru 3 sets of d4s replacements from XD.. i switched over to JDM Garax bulbs now.. never dealing with XD again... and trust me its not due to user installation problems..

i spoke with steve about this d4 bulb problem. he told me hes sold hundreds of these bulbs and the problems people have faced are usually due to the old batch of bulbs and with that in mind, these d4 bulbs are always being tweaked for the better... the HID kits, i havent heard any complaints about them...

I had XD, had some problems after a year, replaced with carlighttrends.com stuff, good so far.

MTEC does not manufacture d4s/c/r bulbs.. but as long as what u got is working.. i guess its all good.
