I purchased this kit, and basically followed the directions in the video. A word of warning thought, it's not as easy as the vid makes it seem. Sanding, prepping, epoxying all add lots of time to the process. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rTWaV1imzs
I also painted the pieces silver first. As for the silver trim I masked it all by hand.
Start with the least visible piece, the drivers rear switch, and get it all figured out then move on to the other switches.
The best advice I can give is to take your time...these 4 pieces took me about 3 months of part time work. I re-did the first switch three times. Now that I've got the process down I should be able to do the center console in a week or two depending on how much time I have.

Seriously dude you could make this a part time job making these panels.
A big thank you to all the compliments ^^^ I wish these were as good as the real thing, but I assure you there are some flaws. Unfortunately the proccess of making these is very time consuming, so continuing on a small scale is not really feasable. However, one of these days I may make another set using some of the more exotic paterns/colors available.
Just arrived! GFX sfp front, Sewell still has um! Unfortunately I'm in Bullhead City Arizona and it's sitting on my front porch in southern Cali! haha.
