DIY carbon fiber skinning. You can buy kits to skin anything... I plan to do it to my interior console pieces and door switch covers.

It is real carbon fiber laid onto epoxy, then covered with clear epoxy , sanded and buffed to a glossy finish.... just like what people pay $800 to have done to their interior. It is VERY labor intensive, which is why people pay so much for it, but a kit that would allow you to do most of your interior pieces would cost $100 or less from eBay depending how little CF you waste.

Im not sure about the typical spring rate because I had H&Rs with stock shocks before. I like them better. Its less jarring then my springs. It also feels more planted to the ground.

Thats not DIY. DIY looks like this:



I wrapped it myself. It isn't glossy like real carbon fiber. That other one looks like a casing. Anyone know where to get that?

My boy actually get them done at a shop and its not a DIY or else it wouldn't be glossy...it's professionally done.v
