Sure thing!

It's incredibly easy. I use a product by Chemical Guys called "Chemical Guys Metal Polish and Protection" it is both a polish and sealant in one, so it removes built up contamination and protects the surface in order to repel dirt and grime, making future cleaning much simpler! I apply it by hand using a microfiber cloth, and rub vigorously to remove the contamination. I apply more polish as needed and work it into the surface until I achieve the results I am looking for, then wipe it off with a clean microfiber cloth. Simple enough. To give you an idea of how well it has worked for me... the exhaust tips I referenced in the pics earlier took me about 5 minutes (each) to polish - no time at all!

*I know the Chemical Guys facility is based somewhere in Cali - so if you guys are local you can buy direct from them. I personally get my supplies from Detailed Image (they are also a vendor here).

Here is what it did for my exhaust on my IS250.

Clean and protect your metal surfaces with Chemical Guys Metal premium metal polish with protection. This fast cutting metal polish will help you restore virtually any metal to the highest possible shine. Use it on chrome, alloy, aluminum, polished and even clear coated metal surfaces. So it's perfect for almost all wheels, exhaust tips, trim, engine bay and more! It can help remove oxidation, brake dust, water marks and other build ups that make metal surfaces look dull and faded. Best of all Metal Shine leaves behind a coat of synthetic polymer protection that really lasts! It makes maintaining your wheels easier and it withstands some of natures harshest elements. After one application rain and moisture will roll of with ease and your wheels stays looking great for longer.
Let me know if I can answer any other questions!

Looks like you've got a lot of polishing left to attempt to eliminate the scratches caused by steel wool... Good luck.

Just to pair with ZMC's great advice...

Whenever you are detailing something, start with the less aggressive method and move towards more aggressive! This comes to all things, whether it's cleaning your car, polishing your exhausts, or removing imperfections in your paint.

And make sure to always seal your metal! I really like Blackfire's Metal Sealant.

Only thing I got today were pics from the RARE times I go to meets. And yes that's the ocean a mere 100 yards in the background. I love where I live.

HeyArms, that BBK was so close to being scooped up by me... Then Ceika came through on sponsorship.
You're lucky sir.

Funny, because i was probably only a week too late with Ceika... I tried to get sponsorship through them and they said someone (you) just was given a hook-up. So i went with these Rotora's since it was cheaper than a new 6/4pot setup from Ceika. I'm sure we'll both be happy with our new BBK's at least.
