Nice. Good to see an old IS member upgrading. My friend just got one and it's awesome. Too bad they're discontinuing the GS. Still have my 07 IS but looking to add a RX cuz family. Congrats bro!

Switching from H&R’s on OEM shocks to these. Went with Fortune’s default spring rates. Only took 5 weeks to receive them. So they’re not too backed up , just in case folks are looking to buy.

Do you have your tune file already?

Be sure to check the gap on those. They're never what they say they are... Welcome to the club - 3 post person!

That header wrap is going to destroy those headers. I have seen it happen before.

I'll be sure to let RR Racing know that they should remove it from all their shop cars immediately and take it off their website. I'll also let Design Systems Engineering know that they've been selling a harmful product for years and should stop.

I coated the titanium wrap with high-temp silicone to protect it from moisture even though DEI says it's not required for the titanium wrap. I followed the instructions for the silicone which is to apply three coats and heat cure for two hours between coats. I don't daily drive this car and it almost never goes out in the rain, so I think it'll be fine.

My location rarely has 100% humidity and this would be fine. Un-painted bare steel headers hardly rusts here unlike other locations.

I coated the titanium wrap...
No need to get triggered and give attitude. Just because it is sold by RR does not mean it is not junk, which unfortunately the wrap is. Has nothing to do with humidity, is all in the heat cycles, and they will get scalding hot which does affect the material.
Instead of cheaping out, you should have ceramic coated them.
I have ceramic PPE, put them on and forget. Like seriously, it is nothing new how they will turn out.

More humid than FL
