I hate it when these things happen.. Parking further away from everyone really helps although its gonna be a long walk for me and its hard esp in cold seasons
Yes, depending on deductible. But who knows what future rate increase will be after the claim.
Shouldn't be a rate increase for something like this. I filed a claim when a tire on the freeway did $800 of damage to my front bumper, and the adjuster told me that since I wasn't at fault, there would be no increase to my premiums.
Ouch man....I think we all here can feel your pain...and hope we are not next to post the same message...hope this is a one time only and you get your car fixed back up to new again...
if it was a store like best buy, dominicks, or big retail stores, you are able to go in and talk to the managers. i've heard of stories where you can file for a claim and they'll reimburse you.
I have heard of this working despite the signs posted that states the retailer is not responsible for cart damage.
Haha! that happened to me too! I was at whole foods and i hear this cart and i look over and theres a cart coming at me. All my windows were down and i yelled AHHHHHHHH and everyone looked and saw me behind chased by a cart. It was comeing from behind me.
oh...... we got the same winds.
ROFL! Reminded me of a time when I was at a Home Depot and a cart full of plant pots rolling 10-15 mph headed towards my front bumper. I quickly reversed and parked into a parking spot. The guy behind wasn't so lucky, as he had people behind him. Hit him hard on the driver side headlight.

depends on the insurance company. u have to clarify it with ur insurance first. some companies raise ur premium even though u werent at fault.
