I hate it when these things happen.. Parking further away from everyone really helps although its gonna be a long walk for me and its hard esp in cold seasons

ALMOST happened to me once. i quickly ran like a mad man and managed to catch the cart on time. my friend thought i was a lunatic. haha

Yes, depending on deductible. But who knows what future rate increase will be after the claim.

Shouldn't be a rate increase for something like this. I filed a claim when a tire on the freeway did $800 of damage to my front bumper, and the adjuster told me that since I wasn't at fault, there would be no increase to my premiums.

I have heard of this working despite the signs posted that states the retailer is not responsible for cart damage.

ROFL! Reminded me of a time when I was at a Home Depot and a cart full of plant pots rolling 10-15 mph headed towards my front bumper. I quickly reversed and parked into a parking spot. The guy behind wasn't so lucky, as he had people behind him. Hit him hard on the driver side headlight.

damn! i got a dent too. i think it was an suv door since my dent is a lil high up above the door handle. but its weird since theres no scratch?

depends on the insurance company. u have to clarify it with ur insurance first. some companies raise ur premium even though u werent at fault.
