that's exactly what I was thinking. I really love that dark, dark silver G35/G37 coupe color (a friend has it and says it's called platinum graphite?). I personally think here in cali, that particular silver (tungsten pearl) is insanely common cause it looks just like any other silver that benz, audi, nissan/infiniti, honda/acura all use. granted, they all have different names for their own "unique" version of silver, but at a quick glance, silver just seems to be silver. I know the same could be said about black, but I've just always had an affinity toward darker colored cars I guess and don't get as bored with them. thus, for my '09, it was between sgm, black sapphire and obsidian. went with obsidian. I do like the sgm a lot, but it was sorta automatically ruled out cause my sister has it in an '07.

No offense to anyone here but I HATE SGM. It's popular because there are a LOT of them. Probably the most unique and rare color is GFM.

On a last note, I will never buy pearl white again as it is impossble to color match in case of an accident.

Silver is silver and the most common color in California for premium cars.

As much as I like SGM, the color is a dime a dozen and I sometimes wish I had gotten something less common.

Here's a doozy.

At first I wanted to go with TP, then SGM caught my eye, then GFM.<--FTW. Since I had a Dark color car before I wanted a lighter color. But all in all a deal came along. But Dark colors looks SEXI when kept clean and shiny. It POPS.

Yet the 1 hour rainy commute to work, the only car that caught my eye was a white scion.

I've owned white cars for years as my daily driver and they are so easy to take care of. My SGM IS is the first dark car I've had for years for use as daily driver.

TP FTW. u can go on for weeks without gettin a car wash and it will still look new. sgm im not sure but its dark. u should get sgm if u like dark colors and wash ur car every week or a week n a half. no matter what color i think both looks good.
