Default optical blue tints....anyone?

I was deciding on what percentage tints then I saw a Mercedes with the factory "sky blue" tints.

Has anyone had experience with those? Comments? Would look good on SGM?

I know there's a tint on our windows, it will probably be a different tint color if applied.

I think the benz's have 60% on them.

I had a loaner Mercedes 07 C230 Sport for a week with that factory blue tint. Looked kind of nice on the silver car from the outside. Don't thing it would look good on SGM Lexus. Tint is too light to be effective, not very pleasant inside the car. I'm using 35% dark grayish tint on my IS350 (all 5 windows same %), looks good with SGM.

i always thought they had blue glass, not tint...i had asked a tint shop and they said there windows are dipped from factory , and that all we could do is find a tint color similar but its not the same thing...

Factory tinted glass in blue, just like other OEM tinted glass. Correct, not a film added later.

yeah i've been researching on it. seems like there is a blue tint but i don't think it'll look great on SGM...

I had a dark car with 35% tints all around before...trying to see I could do something different.

I'm not exactly sure that it's not tint but what i do know is that Elite GS over in the firstgen GS section is running the benz tint on the GS and said that it had to be ordered from mercedes.

Maybe a bluish-tint would work better on the colors with blue, such as the "breakwater" color.
