Did you have to remove the bumper for the install? This is what I had to do when I did mine.

Ohh my gawd...that looked like my car last week lol...yes but what I did different or in addition was to cut and remove the old turn signal socket connectors and replace them with high&low element sockets 4 of them as you already know. They accept 7443 bulbs and have an extra wire. That extra wire is a low element lead which is bridged to my parking lamps. That allows my white to illuminate...then I wired the high element wire to the turn signal lead..which allows my amber to illuminate. It is the same bulb but with dual emitting smts...white and amber..I wanted amber to keep it legal and to match my side mirror leds so they wont look off/funny flashing white in my housing but amber on my mirror turn signals...also this way while in day or night I have the white to illuminate the lower lens area..It kind of fills in light wise the lower housing giving it a "kind of audish look"...I said KIND OF...so please peeps be nice...that sums it up...it gave me a new set of "city lights" I guess...different huh?!?!?

Tim... the bulbs internally control that...the light will alternate depending which element wire is powered...but they dont light on top of each other,just alternate between the two...parking lights on=low element wire powered....turn signals on= high element wire powered and switches off low element.
