Where did you get the 7443 sockets from? Did they snap in the same way the 7440 sockets did? Were any resistors required?

I purchased the sockets from autoillumination...and I had to file slightly in the lamp housing to make the bulbs fit...they were slightly larger than the 7440 bulbs. The sockets have a block around the tabs that need to be filed down..they did this to prevent a 7440 socket to fit into a 7443 socket. you may use resistors to remove hyper flash..but you will need to buy 4 of them. For the front and rear leads..here is what it looks like
...I used a flasher relay instead..so I dont have to worry about heat. I will post a picture of it next

Default flasher led fix

Here is a picture of the flasher fix...but to install this you will have to remove your instument display..its behind your dash..not hard.. but intimidating to do. And you dont get turn signal flash when you lock/unlock your doors....But more safe than resistors FYI: as an alternate to using resistors

You can get to it by removing the cover by the pedals.

This is where I got it from...but you have to mod your headlamps, wiring and change exsisting sockets to use the (non-oem)7443 type dual color lamps.

If you want to simply just get either amber or white led turn signal bulbs and use your exsisting 7440 (oem) sockets with no mod then just get these in what ever color you want
amber

White

Good luck....and BTW to change the bulbs out, you have to remove the bumper to get access to the turn signal bulbs.
