Default Block Heater Plug

Hey guys, I just got a new is250 with a block heater. I know where the plug is for the block heater but does anybody have any ideas how to run it through the grill? Or is the only option is closing the hood on top of the plug? Just feel that the rubber seal will be damaged if I do that.

Drop the cord underneath the bumper. Find a spot to "hook" it to when not in use.
Or just close the hood so it does not latch resting on the cord.

Anyone use one of these?

I'll be starting mine at 515am on days under 20 degrees.

3 questions:

- Part number? I see one on ebay...I guess that'd be ok
- Anyone have a picture of where it goes?

- Does it have any impact on the speed in which hot air will come out of the vents?

that's the one made for our cars. but by it from sewell or somewhere else. the dealer is way overpriced.

your starups will be better and your interior will get warmer faster. definitely worth getting if you live in a cold enough climate.

Where does it install at? I assume it's not like the old ones where you have to pop out a freeze plug?
