Anyone switch from SL2Vi to Navtool?
Those of you without ML, just curious if anyone has went from a SL2Vi to Nav tool? I'm thinking about switching... wondering if it's even worth it. Don't get me wrong, I love the SL2Vi kit, great sound and video quality but I have a ton of DVD's and it kinda takes a while to convert them to MP4 format

You're trying to run both units... wow... I thought about that but thats kind of a tight fit for me because i'm running the SL2Vi kit+Nav hack kit from prestigious society and if I run another... thats just way too much to stuff back there. How is the sound and video quality of the Nav tool opposed to the SL2Vi... care to share?

Yeah I feel ya. I'm too lazy and plus I keep trying to come up with excuses not to switch. I think the only reason I can think of is ipods don't take up as much room as a dvd changer would.

I know with the NavTool you have to control your videos directly from the iPod. Is the same true with the SL2Vi or can you control them from the touchscreen?

Awesome, thanks for the quick response. So the NavTool is only accessable from the iPod, huh? That sucks. That alone makes me want to get the SL2Vi, even if I have to pay for the nav hack. Are there any all-in-one units that allow you to control your videos from the touchscreen/nav AND override the parking break?
