Hi,
I am looking into 2 options to buy the Lexus IS350 2009.
OPTION 1
---------
This option needs to be special ordered and the car will take 3-4 months to arrive.
So far the best price I've got for the Lexus IS350 2009 is invoice price (includes destination) + $1500, which is:
Invoice $39,777 + $1,500 + fees = $41,277 + fees
MSRP is $44,630.00, so I'm getting $3353 off MSRP.
The options include:
1. Luxury Plus Pkg. with 18 inch alloy wheels.
2. Navigation and Mark Levinson Audio
Color: Obsidian black (or Smoky granite mica) with black interior and dark gray wood trim.
OPTION 2
---------
In this option, the car is available at the dealership lot.
I also got a quote for:
1. Prem. Pkg.
2. Navigation
Invoice is $37,980 (includes destination)
internet price is $38,980 + fees
MSRP is $42,735.00, so I'm getting $42,735 - $38,980 = $3755 off MSRP.
Color: Obsidian black (or Smoky granite mica) with black interior and dark gray wood trim.
Do you guys think that the above are good deals?
I am just wondering if the luxury pkg. is worth the extra $2K? Can you guys help me decide! I appreciate it.

The luxury package w/ nav and ML.
If you're considering the lux pac, then I think it is worth it because some of the features included are not something you can add later if you wanted them.

For about the 3rd time, a black / black 350 Lux is not that uncommon. Just get your dealer to do a locate and find out shipping costs. Should take about a week instead of 3-4 months.

Sewell Lexus of Dallas, Texas and Eskridge Lexus in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma both have 2009 Black/Black IS 350 Nav/Lev/Lux cars, $45K MSRP's.
Transport to California should run around $1200 or so.
There you go.

Thanks.. but do you think I can get the price to be close to $41,277? If they charge me $1200 wouldn't that just add to the cost and make it higher?

I'd ask for $42,000 + fees and taxes, with transport included. This way they get a December sale out of it.
I'd rather pay a little more and have it right now than wait, though.

There is no point of paying for a car to be shipped when there are tons of dealerships in SoCal (and CA in general)
