We have had out winter fun start early in Chicago and now we have been receiving very daunting ice storms. Go for the Michellin Pilot A/S or the Goodyear F1's. Better yet, save your money and call in on the one snow day you have a year in the south Nevada region (lol).
This is the first time my IS has ever seen snow. Snow mode all the way!
That would make a nice Christmas post card....btw I saw the news about the snow in Vegas...seems everyone was tripping out...huh snowing in the desert....how fun is that
10" snow yesteday at Mount Hamilton about 1/2 hour from my house, somewhat rare though.
Hey that means you close to me! Most of the time we get snow up there but melts after a day but its been really cold lately from as low as 28-35 at night
I can see the snow from my house, and i heard we can get snow as low as 1500 feet
I feel ya dude! I live south of Seattle, WA and we're getting hit by a big snow storm. Monday I couldn't even get out of my drive way in my IS350 and had to push my car back into the garage! It's my first RWD car, so a learning experience (I just got it back in August). But I took my brother's Celica (which was mine) out which drove fine, sort of miss having FWD...
hey im from seattle too..dang the snow really surprised us today, i didnt think it would snow this much especially downtown
I'm assuming all you guys who have IS250's with snow problems are RWD? My AWD handles the snow and ice storms we've had here fine. My drive is a 30 deg incline and been solid ice for last two day and as long as I'm gentle and constant on the gas, it makes it up to my garage without a hitch. Never used nor needed the "snow mode" button. My problem is avoiding being too overly confident cause it has no problem starting, but still got to follow the laws of physics for stopping.
