Love this forum as its so active being from australia
Don't kill me for want i about to say but i love lexus
I sold my is250 sport which has sport suspension and 18'' wheels for a brand new BMW 335i m-sport coupe 19'' m wheels
In australia and europe we only get the 250 and is-f
Lexus has shot themselves in the foot for not bring out the 350
Price wise is250 luxury is $82000 aus and is-f $140000 on the road which is nearly $60000 gap between the two
They said the 350 would be around $110000 but would cut into gs300 prices so no 350
The is-f is too dear and too rough on our roads as it bounces all over the road and hard too control
So of to bmw dealership
Took a look at the 335 m-sport coupe and it is amazing sports coupe low and fast and kills the 250 sports suspension in handling and i guess same for the 350 as has the same suspension as the 250.
Lexus in australia is down 64%
There were 3 is250 when i was dropping mine off and all were buying 335s
335 has no competition over here but the engineering in this thing is mind blowing in road feel and handling and smoother ride than lexus.
Yes i drive takes some used to but not that bad
Xenon lights are better than lexus
Lexus sat nav is hard to beat
Sound of the engine is beautiful
Interior is beige and looks very classy less cluttered
Price wise $115000 on the road with options.

alternative scenario B:

Country imports only BMW 328i sedan and M3s but does not import 335i. Owner trades in 328i sedan for IS350 sedan. Owner posts in bmw forums, forums say good choice based on situation.
